Georgia L. Clark, Partner-Chief Executive Officer
gclark@cpgcommunications.com
Georgia Clark launched CPG Communications Corp. in 1981, in response to corporate America's increasing focus on diversity. While serving as marketing director for one of the world's largest commercial airlines, she'd hired public relations firms but hadn't identified one able to comprehensively access emerging markets.
When her employer's collapse proved inevitable, Georgia traded her marketing position for a chance at business ownership and committed to offering specialized services in diversity marketing and public relations.
What's her secret? Loads of talent and experience doesn't hurt. But primarily, she listens. She finds out where clients want to go and designs a process to get them there. Sounds simple, but it's surprisingly rare these days.
Georgia's passion is evident in every undertaking. She is a visionary leader who contributes immeasurable resources in her community and frequently imparts key leadership principles to audiences across the country. She is an avid traveler who believes there is no greater education. After stepping foot in 36 countries, she's still counting probably planning her next excursion at this very moment.
Georgia studied at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
